VetRehab: Pros Get Together – Again!
October 2025
We another get together recently, this time in my home patch. We were VERY lucky to be able to visit Ohakea and see the military dogs with their very impressive facilities. Followed by a yummy lunch and some sharing of ideas and knowledge at the Feilding Dog Training Club grounds. It was another lovely day, and there were several new people to get to know too.
VetRehab: Pros Get Together

We had a lovely first get-together of vet rehab professionals this month. Three rehab vets, a hydrotherapist and a vet physio. It was a great day full of learning and sharing experiences, knowledge and ideas. We’re planning on expanding the group and having regular meetings – all with the ultimate goal of improving life for animals.
New Zealand Veterinary Association Conference
June 2025
In early June I spoke to a group of equine vets and associated equine professionals at the NZVA conference in Wellington. My topic was “Bodywork – Bogus or Bonus?” This was a great opportunity to help vets understand the various types of people working in this field, how well they’re qualified, what bodywork involves, and the associated issues in horse care and welfare. I also got to meet some great colleagues and catch up with a few I haven’t seen for ages. It was a great day out. 2025 NZVA & NZVNA Conference.
Equine Podiatry Roadshow
June 2025
This was a great professional development event for vets and farriers, discussing equine biomechanics and hoof care. Another great opportunity to catch up with likeminded colleagues and getting up to date with the latest research and ideas in hoof care. NZERF Rodmor Equine Podiatry Roadshow | ESNZ
